The Holy Spirit is my anchor, my deliverer and my protector.
During a difficult period in my life, I felt the permeable presence of the Spirit. I felt carried through that time by a strength unfamiliar to me. I was lifted out of the crevices and and the Spirit walked alongside me.
I feel the Holy Spirit in my home and others do as well. His presence brings a warmth, a peace and a comfort to my home that is palpable to all who enter. The Holy Spirit guides me daily, as he goes before me and directs and leads me.
Do you believe in karma, Murphy’s Law or fate? Do you believe that life happens by accident and things occur by chance? Or do you recognize that our story is written by an author that has the almighty power and loves us unconditionally. For believers, we are gifted the power of the Spirit who serves to guide and direct our steps, infusing us with a supernatural strength, beyond our own.
“Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to Heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest parts of the sea, Even if there, your hand will lead me, and your right hand will lay hold of me.” Psalm 139:7-10
Prayer-Precious Father, thank you for this Spiritual presence that lives among me and within me. Thank you for breaking me… allowing me to be receptive to the Spirits dwelling within me. Thank you for the protection You provide through the Holy Spirit. It is only through this power that I can serve and emulate you. Without this power, I am rendered helpless.
